Catch Of The Week – Tempos Insanos feat. BNegão (Frikstailers Remix)

For this week’s catch we’ve chosen a track hot off the press from one of our favourite Argentinian production duos, Friksailers.  Aside from being slightly insane with a love of neon headgear they possibly have one of the most fascinating sounds at the moment, and with this latest free release that definitely holds true.

Catch Of The Week – Harlem Shake

We tend to use Catch to highlight lesser-heard tracks that might – and really don’t deserve to – slip through the net, but this week we’ve gone against the grain (or should that be with the grain?) and chosen a tune already being lauded as a certified banger all over the web. WIZRD Collective

It was via a collection of crisp House remixes from French producer Dehousy that we first stumbled across the WIZRD Collective late last year, and since then they’ve put out a steady trickle of great tracks – House and otherwise – in the process forming a clear but unblinkered style and ethos.  Centred around trappy, swaggy, drum-led sounds that never take themselves too seriously – from the tongue-in-cheek Hip-Hop of Miami’s Metro Zu to the sleazy percussive workouts of Melbourne’s Lucid - it seems that the key ingredient for the wizrd collective is the fun!
