Ok we’ve been meaning to point you in the direction of this one ever since we first heard the preview a couple of weeks ago. With the EP now available via Juno this week (and everywhere else on 20th March) it’s high time we sung it’s praises!
We’ve long been fans of Admin‘s effortless, soothing house/garage offerings, and this latest release on the consistently stunning French label B.YRSLF Division is possibly his best work yet. Admin teams up with London’s Mahni for the title track – which is backed by the great solo offering ‘Next Universe’ – and both tunes have a stripped-back, skippy neon vibe that we found irresistible.
The EP also features 2 remixes of ‘Formattin’ from Magnum Bass and Bombe, as well as 3 remixes of Admin’s 2011 gem ‘Pink Gloves‘ from Kon, Slick Shoota and Konga-Konga. And of course, this being a B.YRSLF release, every track is spot on!
