Over the last few years Rob Booth has been a constant, if possibly under-valued figure in the world of electronic music, relentlessly championing fresh and interesting styles through his brilliant weekly podcast series. With in excess of 200 shows now under his belt and a listener base in the region of 80,000 people, his unrivalled taste and ear for a genuinely innovative sound has now been channelled into an epic 60 track compilation, and it’s out today!
Among the long list of contributors are the likes of Arkist, Komonazmuk, Bong Ra, Chrissy Murderbot, Darquan, Distal, Drumcorps, Enduser, Ital Tek, Kahn, Kowton, Machinedrum, Memotone, Milanese, Swarms, Ruckspin, Phaeleh, Geiom…and on and on. Every track is exclusive to the release, and – as a testament to the high regard in which Electronic Explorations is held – they were all donated by the artists to help fund the future of the show. With this in mind, if you can afford to pay a little more than the obscenely good value £5 price tag then please do – you’ll be supporting the survival of a truly worthy and invaluable outlet for proper IDM!
You can preview all 60 glorious tracks in the player below, or if you’d prefer to see the list of contributing artists too then head over here now.
