2012 has been a great year for Norway’s premier Juke machine Slick Shoota, with impressive releases on Loose Squares and Mad Decent (and a contribution to B.YRSLF’s Summer Crisis), as well as remixes for the likes of Admin, Drippin & Strictface, Velma Kelly and DJ Eskilate. He has just continued this run of form with the release of a smart new EP ‘Draw’ on Russian label Hyperboloid, out last friday.

Dub Bait is essentially an ongoing quest to bring forth the best in new music and newly emerging dance music genes. This July 28th our voyage takes us to the Garden Stage at Nozstock for a specially geared late night spot from 11:30pm through to 4:00am, as we explore some of the coolest sounds of our time.

The spring is here again, and over at Dub Bait HQ we’ve been busy prepping for our slot at one of our favourite micro-festivals of the year, the awesome Springstan. The Oh Yeah Wow production collective based out of Melbourne, Australia, recently knocked up this little gem of a music video for one of Australia’s top instrumental and cinematic chill-tronica outfits ‘All India Radio‘ and their track Rippled, released early last year. As you know, we’re massive suckers for creative, in camera, stop frame animation work and this has got to be some of the best output we’ve seen for a while! Watch it after the jump.

The night was founded upon previous collaborations with ‘Compass’ at both ‘Shambala’ and ‘Nozstock’ where their attention to detail transformed spaces into the escapists dream.
