With great anticipation we approached the weekend that would bring an inevitable mix of cross-disciplinary arts, music and interactivity. The night was founded upon previous collaborations with ‘Compass’ at both ‘Shambala’ and ‘Nozstock’ where their attention to detail transformed spaces into the escapists dream.

It’s been a while since a great tune has come along without an accompanying stream of self-promotion, but we really can’t tell you anything about Adulterer. This track appeared two weeks ago with almost zero web presence – few Soundcloud followers and no Facebook likes. Eerie eh? Whatever the deal is (talented newcomer? established producer under a new name?) we think ‘Vicious Truths’ is superb!

Tri Hita Karana is a live-cinema performance told through multi-screen video projection and live-music directly influenced from Balinese culture. The documentary explores the Balinese philosophy of the Tri Hita Karana and how disregard for this balance has culminated in the loss of cultural values and a sustainable way of living. Diversifying from traditional documentary with the use of live performance and modern techniques, the piece is a cultural insight and exploration of documentary.
